The Addiction DVD Review

Good Morning Lovelies,

For many of us, vampires have changed in recent years. From Twilight to The Vampire Diaries, the world has made vampires a little bit softer than they once were. However, with the re-release of The Addiction, things are about to change.

Starring Christopher Walken, Lili Taylor and Annabella Sciorra, the black and white feature tackles a mixture of 90s slasher features with low key elements that make this a cult hit.  When a young woman is taken on her way home and bit, she faces a new life. One that she isn’t quite prepared for.

Whilst it is easy to guess where the film will go, with such familiar faces and the idea that this was one of the first vampire thrillers on the circuit it remains fresh and entertaining. The added eerie vibe of the black and white footage creates a classic nature that is used now to make others see how much of a vital feature it was.

Walken and co know how to make their characters pop and as a bunch of vampires they make sure that they are what were once terrifying figures. Biting animals isn’t really a thing they do in this feature lovelies.

There so, if you are looking for a classic 90s film with vampires, turn your attention to this one in the future. With wit, scares and close-ups to rival other 90s hits, this is the one for you if you are a cult or horror film fan, which is why I am giving it…
