Yesterday I delved into the world of Light & Free UK, Danone and Orla Kiely for a very special evening at Orla’s Monmouth Street store!


Joining forces for the ultimate collaboration, Orla has placed some of her world-famous patterns onto some of the fruitiest of Light & Free yogurts. And they look fantastic!

Fitting in like a designer accessory, the store was transformed to mark the release of the items, which are out now and it looked amazing. With a DJ and champagne on hand to greet us all, the night got off to an amazing start when I spent the first half of it telling Orla about The Avengers.


After convincing her to go and see it, I went further into the store to take a look at some of her amazing designs. Instantly I could see that the yogurts and their new look suited the brand perfectly. In fact, they were like two peas in a pod!

Grabbing a sample of the yogurt, I knew that it may just become a favourite of mine. Anything healthy (although I also love a little bit of naughtiness every now and then!) is my go to and I could eat yogurt all day if I would be allowed. In fact, you can often find me at the end of the day after dinner with a bowl of fruit and yogurt. And this may just be making its way on top of that fruit.


The brand new flavour, known as  Sweet Poma-berries, includes pomegranate, raspberries and blackberries to make a sweet treat that is obviously not full of sugar! With a summer taste that you can imagine turning into ice lollies, it is the perfect treat to see the transition between spring and summer with. As well, it is a treat you could enjoy whilst wearing your favourite Orla outfit.

After spending time looking around and enjoy the delights of Light & Free, I headed off into the sunset dreaming of a new wardrobe, food and a house filled with Orla goodies! When do dreams start coming true? Aha!
