Blade Of The Immortal DVD Review

Good Morning Lovelies,

Manga films are getting bigger and bigger everyday lovelies and it is all down to the people behind the scenes. The films creators are making sure that the books and comics are getting told on screen in a classy and fun ways that live up to their expectations. This includes master of the genre Takashi Miike, whose new film, Blade Of The Immortal, is out today on DVD and Blu-Ray.

Based on the best-selling series of the same name, the film captures Tauya Kimura as Manji, a samurai on a mission to avenge the death of his sister. Taking on an epic battle to make sure those that hurt her pay for what they did, the film mixes combat and thrills to entertain audiences and fans of the series.

If you are a fan of the books, then I am sure that you will be happy with the end results. They are beautifully shot and the story within the film is well told. However, if you haven’t read them before, it may be best to do a little bit of research beforehand, as it can get confusing.

Not sticking to just one story, the film incorporates many stories in one, leading you into a bit of a mumble jumble of a film at times. Yet, this doesn’t stop it from being a film that will bring more Manga fans and stories to life on the big screen.

There so, I am giving it…

3 Stars
