Good Morning Lovelies, 

Yesterday, Film4 Summer Screen announced the first four films for this year’s event and they are all perfect features to celebrate the summer season with, as you enjoy them under the stars.

Themed around the idea of dreams, the film festival will be held from the 9th to the 22nd August will feature classics including Inception, Labyrinth, Call Me By Your Name and Blue Velvet, all of which that will take us to another world.

As well, for the first time ever, Somerset House (where the event is held) has commissioned two of its Somerset House Studios artists – performance artist Mel Brimfield and filmmaker Ewan Jones Morris – to create a short film, which will be screened before each film.

Tickets for each event will come out in May lovelies, with the full festival to be announced soon, but for now I think we should all celebrate the four films announced, as they are all the stuff that dreams are made of.
