Voice Of The Moon DVD Review

Good Morning Lovelies,

Directed by Federico Fellini, Voice of the Moon is an Italian feature that is going nowhere. With incredible details and a large amount of time having obviously spent perfecting the film, the story, which is based on the best-selling book by Ermano Cavazzoni, will leave you thinking about everything in your life.

Adapted from the book, the film tells the story of Ivo, who is in love with Aldini and has just been released from a mental hospital. However, she isn’t going out with him. As he works to win her over, his world changes and you see the real visions and thoughts that Ivo is having.

The world in the film has been created with beauty in mind. There are thrills throughout, but the landscapes have been made to make you sit back with your jaw dropping from the details in them. Big or small they are unforgettable.

It is a big mixture in fact of great script writing, brilliant acting and a book influencing what the characters and story are doing. With a perfect platform, there is not much that can go wrong, especially with the expert touch of Fellini.

There so, I am giving the film…

4 Stars
