When I first heard about the 80s classic Miracle Mile, there was one reason I wanted to see it. The tense description provided!

Starring Anthony Edwards and Mare Winningham, the film follows them as they meet and fall in love. Only to find out that a nuclear war is about to begin one hour after they wake up a few days later.

The film is a masterpiece for its screenplay! When first created it was an I produced piece, but thankfully it was picked up and delivered, as the film gives a new look, feel and idea to the end of the world genre.

It is a clever play on how to show people that love can conquer everyone, even in the worst of times. Even when the world is ending. However, it does have its downfalls and is often a little cheesy.
