One For The Sports Fans...

Yesterday I was made aware of a sporting event that is being held in honour of the release of 'Man of Steel' on DVD and Blu Ray from the 2nd of December or Pre-Ordered now.

Wigan Warriors, Leeds Rhinos, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment, ISC Sport and Sky Sports have partnered up to show the best of their human ability's. This is not a match anyone should miss on the 5th of September when Wigan clash with Leeds live on Sky Sports 2!

A mark that has long been associated with Rugby, the men will wear the 'Man of Steel' Superman logo proudly on the front of their shirts, in a match that kicks off the final round of games in the Super League season. Each player will be hoping to also win the 'Man of Steel' award which dates back to 1977 when Leeds captain David Ward won the inaugural title for the first time.

The clubs official apparel partner, ISC Sport, have created a number of replica shirts for you to buy which will be available to Pre Order on the links below from today...



Tickets for the match are also available with adult tickets from £21 and concessions for £15. These tickets can be booked through the Wigan ticket office on 0871 6633552 or the Leeds ticket hotline on 0871 423 13 15 (calls are charged at 10p per minute – calls from mobiles may vary).

If you are lucky enough to be attending the game, you have been encouraged to dress up as your favourite Superhero, with prizes going out to those with the best costumes. Prizes can also be won on the clubs websites during the build-up to the big game. 

However if like me, you are unable to attend the event you can watch it on Sky Sports 2 from 8pm on the 5th of September!
