800 Words Season Two DVD Review

07:30:00

Good Morning Lovelies,

Doubling up on episodes for its second season, 800 Words makes its release on DVD and Blu-ray today, to give audiences their next hit of the family trio and the mysterious village they live in.

Picking up in the midst of planning their Guy Fawkes Night, the show captures George and Arlo planning to get Shay back home, after she left in the last season. Together, they face being reunited, new loves, new jobs and a whole host of surprises from the locals. All of which makes a gripping Australian drama.

Different to the first season in many ways, the second flows a lot better and the cast and crew seem to have found their flow the second time around. There is no stopping them from making sure that audiences get the best stories from the family, making them continue to return.

Sadness still affects the family, especially in the episode marking a year on from Laura’s death, but the way the writers handle it means it doesn’t ever become too hard to watch. And this is reflected in many other circumstances in the show too. In fact, this season is definitely more upbeat than before.

If you are looking for a new drama to binge or wanting to catch up with the family again, then you will be happy to see them return and in great fashion.

There so, I am giving it…
