Good Morning Lovelies,

With an all-star cast including Chadwick Boseman, Sterling K. Brown and Josh Gad, court-room drama Marshall leads the way for a whole new history of cinema, as filmmakers are finally telling the stories that need to be told!

Set in the 1940s, Boseman portrays Thurgood Marshall, attorney for the National Association for the Advancement of Coloured People (NAACP) and future first African American supreme court justice, as he takes on one of the biggest cases of his career. Asking his team to defend a black man, who has been accused of raping a woman, the scenes are filled with tension that had catapulted Boseman’s career even further.

The film is full of history and will teach everyone who watches something not only about Marshall but American laws. There is always something happening and something that you are trying to get to grips with and once you do, it makes for a film that will bring incredible role models to the forefront.

Marshall’s work was made for cinema and it feels like it was made for Boseman to tell, as he captures the legendary figure in an incredible manner. All of which is helped with the great supporting cast members in Brown and Gad, who both make sure they are never forgotten, even when off screen.

Whether you enjoy films about historical law making or changes, this film is a must watch, as it will leave you with much to think about. It is a film that reflects modern day issues as well as those that happened in the past in a fantastic manner.

One in which that has earned it this…

4 Stars
