The study also discovered that people prefer to go to the cinema around twice a month instead of going for a meal, with two-thirds of adults going with their partners or friends. And a fizzy drink, popcorn and pick ‘n’ mix are essential to complete their night out, which people said they enjoyed the most because of the bigger screen. Whilst one in five of us make sure to optimise that enjoyment by enjoying the trailers first in the best seats at the back of the cinema (or the middle!).
Speaking about the findings, a Cineworld spokesperson said; “From the research, we know that over half of those surveyed regret missing out on seeing a film on the big screen. We are delighted to give film fans another opportunity to enjoy some of the biggest releases from 2017 as part of the IMAX Film Fest. From Dunkirk to Beauty and the Beast, seeing a movie in IMAX quality at Cineworld is so much more. Every element is planned, designed and positioned to create the most intense experience for our customers.”
Films slated above have been included in the line up to the Cineworld IMAX Film Festival with the likes of Dunkirk, IT, Beauty and the Beast and many more hit films returning to the big screen lovelies. So, make sure to look out for the event at your local cinema from the 10th March, as tickets start from £3. To find out more click here: https://www.cineworld.com/imax-film-fest.
