Out today on DVD and Blu-ray, Attack on Titan Season 2, brings to life the best-selling manga for further tales on humanity’s last remnant’s, who have hidden themselves away in fear of the Titans who rule the earth.

Starring the voices of Yuki Kaji and Marina Inoue, the show follows Eren Jaeger, as he fights to protect his home and his friends during the endless war. As he tackles the Titan’s one by one, he finds himself trapped in some horrific secrets that have been hidden behind and outside of the wall for a long time. Including one that could threaten everything that they have built.

Having never seen the first season, I was surprised by how quick I fell into the show. As the battle’s rage on in the show, there is a constant sense of being sucked into each scene, which leads to a binge-watching session.

From the death of Jaeger’s mother in the early episodes to the animated beautifully enriched fights that take place between characters, there is a sense that nothing is going to stop these characters from getting what they want. All of which makes for a great entertaining adult manga series for all.
