Witnesses 2: A Frozen Death DVD Review

07:30:00

Good Morning Lovelies,

After an epic first season, Witnesses 2: A Frozen Death is a gripping second instalment of the much-loved show. Hooked from the first episode, you are not going to be able to stop watching this and will be begging for more once completed.

Returning as Lieutenant Sandra Winckler, Marie Dompnier is joined by Audrey Fleurot, as Catherine Keemer, a woman who is somehow connected to the 15 men whose bodies have been found frozen in the north of France. However, it isn’t all as it seems as Catherine disappeared three years prior to the men being found.

With no follow up announced, the series leaves no stone unturned, to give audiences all the twists and revelations in each episode. There is not a moment where something isn’t being revealed, leading to another piece of the jigsaw coming together perfectly.

After a first series, which was equally brilliantly, but did sometimes go a little wild, this one tones it down to notch it up, with characters more closed off than ever before, yet handled by a detective who knows what she is doing. It is the perfect series to fill the gap that Line of Duty may have left when it ended. It is really that gripping.

You won’t have to have watched the first series to enjoy this one and I really suggest you sit down during January and enjoy it. Binge-watching time is calling with this show a lot.

There so I am giving it…

4 Stars
