It is time to revolt! Not quite literally, but it is time to sit back with the film Revolt. Fresh from Lionsgate, the film starring Jason Felmyng and Lee Pace is out on DVD, Blu-ray and digitally from today.

Telling the story of a group of men who try to save humanity from an alien invasion, both actors are put through their paces to give us all an action-packed adventure. However, the story doesn’t fully play out as you would hope.

Characters get lost in the dark and the story goes a little bit crazy at times. As the actors try to reign in the script, it becomes even more obscure and you never truly feel like comfortable whilst watching. And not in a good horror film kind of way.

As the UK and France try to battle for a more human future, it all just seems to be trying to send out a message of how our world is today. Alien but something we can control. However, it doesn’t show all of this in any good forms.
