Better Call Saul Season 3 DVD Review

09:00:00

Good Morning Lovelies,

Better Call Saul has been one show that has proved that TV spin-offs can work well. With Bob Odenkirk back for another season, the third outing for the infamous character follows his steps as he tries to establish his strip-mall law office in New Mexico.

Creators Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould have made a fantastic third season that brings to life the character of Saul even more so. It touches on the Breaking Bad character that we know and love more and more, as it brings us closer to returning to the scenes of the show.

With familiar characters appearing and storylines, including the workings of the drug cartel, the third seasons opening episodes are ones of work of art. They are Breaking Bad when it was at its best. They are clever scriptwriting rolled into one and they are perfect for fans or non-fans of its sister show. However, the season does waver a little bit as it goes on.

There are moments were scenes don’t make sense. There are moments were the world of the characters and their lives don’t make easy viewing and there are quotes that just go a little bit outside the realm of the world that Saul has built.

It is no fault to the acting in the show though. Odenkirk is brilliant and he will definitely be getting some award nominations for his portrayal of Saul. He never gets boring and he often makes the show more enjoyable to watch. It is scenes he is not in that let it down in fact.

There so, due to all of this, I am giving the third season…
