Transformers: The Last Knight DVD Review

Good Morning Lovelies,

Since it first returned to our big screens, the world of Transformers has always been on unsafe ground. When the first one came out 10 years ago, the world was excited and a little let down by it. Sadly, after many steps into the doorway to the franchise, the latest outing, Transformers: The Last Knight fails to give it a new life.

Returning for a new outing, director Michael Bay and star Mark Wahlberg, present a world where transformers are illegally on earth. Deciding to take matters into his own hands Wahlberg's Cade, finds an English Earl (Anthony Hopkins) and Professor (newcomer Laura Haddock) to help restore order, as the lawbreakers get out of hand.

For many the scenes in this film, will lack like never before. Trying to do a Star Wars battle in a real world just can't be done as well or as easily as it once was before. There are too many moments of confusion, poor script adjustments and sound, shots and direction low quality that the story isn't enjoyable.

The cast is a great bunch of talented people. It is there so a sad waste of a franchise that has now had its time. With Optimus Prime in hiding for much of the film as well, you kind of start building a sense that you might just go and join him.

Wahlberg, Hopkins and Haddock are all trying their best to give emotive, intelligent and fun performances. However, the script lets them down with endless loopholes.

Bay's childhood fantasies are what brought this franchise back to life. But sadly, they are now tiring and as an audience member, you don't have or find yourself building the interest you once had for it.

There so I am giving this knight...
