The Goldbergs Third and Fourth Season DVD Review

Good Morning Lovelies,

Do you ever have those moments with your family where you just know that they would be perfect on a TV or film screen? It may sound weird but I often think certain elements of my life are so crazy that they would make for great entertainment.

In 2017, one show and its creator have made their family moments into a great show that keeps everyone laughing. The Goldbergs, which releases its third and fourth season today, is a flashback to the 80s that is perfect in so many ways.

Following the real childhood stories and videos of actor and filmmaker Adam Goldberg, the show captures the daily events that use to happen to the family. From first crushes, experiences with Star Wars and making best friends that have stayed for life, it is a warm hug all wrapped up in one.

Starring Wendi McLendon-Covey, Jeff Garlin, Sean Giambrone, Troy Gentile, Hayley Orrantia and George Segal, in a family dynamic that clicks so well. However, the stand out performances within it come from McLendon-Covey and Gentile, who bring the real comedic elements to every season. As overbearing mother Beverley and emotional son Barry, Adam's on-screen version of his family make you want to watch episode after episode.

The third and fourth season are delightfully developed to give you the more grown-up stages of the characters’ lives. The young Adam is breaking his voice, Ericka is facing her first real relationship and Barry is well, being Barry. Each character presents a different stage of young adult life that we have all gone through at some point. But maybe not in such dramatic ways.

The Goldbergs are essentially the E4 treat that will warm up your winter. You soon feel like a part of the family when watching and as grown-up Adam provides the voiceover, it becomes as if you are sat in a room with him as you watch family home videos.

If you want to become a member I highly suggest you do with this...
