The Canterville Ghost DVD Review

Good Morning Lovelies,

Based on the best selling book, the 1996 adaptation of The Canterville Ghost tells the story of one man and young woman's haunting time at Canterville Hall.

Starring Patrick Stewart and Neve Campbell, the film takes audiences on the ghost ride of their lives, as they witness Stewart's Hiram Otis and Campbell's Ginny face some blood thirsty ghosts who are set on ruining they new home.

For ghost stories it feels more like a TV adaptation than a film one. Yet, for the time of creation it must have sure been a thrilling if not ghoulish feature to watch.

Seeing Campbell in this light is like seeing her in a way that shows what her character would have been like if not so brave in Scream. Whilst Stewart is brilliant as Otis, Campbell is a standout performer and the film captures in every take of hers, as she brings every emotion to set.

With her superb acting, a great set of thrilling directors and script features, the film and its ghost has no real hauntings to worry about. Especially when I am giving it...
