Celebrate IT and Halloween With These Iconic Pennywise Moments

Good Afternoon Lovelies,

Halloween is coming and this year there is one character that is probably going to outdo them all. Pennywise the Clown is fast becoming the most wanted costume and so I thought it would be interesting to take a look at some of the most iconic moments that have made him so popular.

Here are my top five old and new Pennywise moments that will stand the test of time…

Georgie’s Death
This made everyone scared to walk home alone, as the fear of Pennywise the Dancing Clown being in a drain cannot be beaten. As those eyes and that face appear, everything in your heart drops as he traps Georgie in with the promise to return his boat.

Appearing In A Book/On Screen
In the newest version of the film, Pennywise appears on home footage from an event in time before launching himself at the Losers watching it. In the original, the Losers are flicking through a book, which Pennywise terrifyingly dances out of.

Blood Spilling Balloons
Pennywise is known for his tricks and his use of blood filled balloons cause horror for everyone who gets one. From chasing young people into his dark sewer trap to bursting all over Bev’s bathroom, Pennywise takes an innocent childhood element and ruins it in seconds.

Sitting In The Grass
The 2017 version of the film gave audiences a small but horrifying glimpse at the real darkness of Pennywise, as he sat and ate a child’s arm in the middle of some long grass. Never again will a nice summer walk in the long grass be the same.

Pennywise’s Home
If you have ever been to the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland, then you will instantly see the house in the film and think this. However, this film makes it so much worse. From fear filled rooms, full of clowns, people and the scares that haunt the Losers, Pennywise is unable to keep his darkness from not exploding onto the walls of this home.

Which moment in IT do you feel most terrified of lovelies? Let me know!
