The Endless Summer DVD Review

07:30:00

Good Morning Lovelies,

Created back in 1966, The Endless Summer has proven itself to be one of the best documentaries of all time. Still, to this day, it has a 100% Rotten Tomatoes rating, making it extra fresh and entertaining upon its release on DVD and Blu-Ray today!

Created by filmmaker Bruce Brown, the documentary film sees him following around two professional surfers. Travelling the world to take part in the sport, the documentary shows audiences different views from around the world and the joys that come from travelling if you can.

From researching the film, it was discovered that the idea for the documentary came to Brown upon meeting a travel agent. Little did that travel agent know that he inspired one of the most amazing films of all time.

Capturing the hearts of different cultures and worlds, Brown has shown the lifestyles of the world in different moments that make them all stand out. As a viewer, you finish the film with memories of a world that has but hasn't really changed since the 1960s. However, the true sadness that comes from this is the only real change that is the lack of freedom.

Coming out at a time when people need to find the inspiration to travel, this film captures it well and makes you want to find out more about the world we live on.

There so I am keeping it fresh and giving the film...

5 Stars
