On Any Sunday DVD Review
07:30:00
Good Morning Lovelies,
Made in 1971, On Any Sunday carries on Bruce Brown's
collection of amazing sports stories, as he captures the heart of motorcycle
sports.
With big names including Steve McQueen featuring, the film
shows all different sides to a sport that isn't often appreciated enough in
documentaries of filmmaking. Personalities are strong in the film and make for
more vivid and emotional reactions from the audience as you watch.
Motocross racing has always been a sport watched with your
eyes either open wide or covered up. This film takes us inside the sport for a
better understanding. From local racing to national competitions, every aspect
has been caught on camera to complete the on-screen story.
McQueen is an exciting feature, but he isn't the true winner
in this film. Helmed as one of the best motorcycle focused films, the real
winner is the sport. Finally, being shown on screen it is getting the attention
it lacked for so many years. In a rather brilliant light!
However, this may not be the case if you aren't a motocross
fan, but I have a feeling by the end of the film you will be.
There so I am giving Brown a heart racing...
