Recently I have been watching a lot of noir features to review on the blog and one that recently arrived on my door step was Dicte. Into its second season, the show follows a crime reporter as she delves into some dark and mysterious worlds.

Following on from the first season, the show sees the return of Dicte Svendsen and her daughter Rose, who left to build a new future. Upon their return, the two are forced to deal with the dark world that they thought they had left in the past.

The show is a gripping watch with a theme throughout it that reminds you of Homeland. But the good years of Homeland. The characters are likeable, even when they a menacing which has all come down to the clever story telling throughout the show.

The contrast between detective and reporter also mean that no clues are left out and as each one is uncovered, you can’t take your eyes off of the screen.

There so I am giving this gripping viewing...
