Good Morning Lovelies,

Around the world fans of film and TV shows have been gathering together for years. Now as comic cons become more popular, I have joined forces with Eventbrite to help make sure that you are prepared for your next big event.

From cos-play guidance to making sure you have everything you need on the big day; your next comic con event will be a breeze. Ultimately meaning that there will be less time spent worrying that you have forgotten something and more time meeting the stars of your favourite show or film.

Over the next few weeks, I will be posting a series of articles starting with today’s which is all about the essentials you need to make sure you are ready and prepared for the big comic con day.

Have Your Tickets Ready: Of course, this is an essential rule, but by having them on hand easily throughout the day, you won’t have to ruin your outfit or stand around fighting with your bag or costume trying to find them. Whip them out in a superhero/action figure style by placing them in a safe but easily accessible place.

A Large Bag or Holder: Many comic conventions now have guest available to sign posters or stalls dotted around the area to buy memorabilia. Make sure that you bring a big enough bag to place them in or purchase large carrier bags around the room to keep them in good condition.

Your Camera/Phone: There is nothing worse than spotting something super cool or your favourite TV/film star but not being able to capture the moment. Whilst it will always be in your memory, you can show off to your friends and family who you met, what you saw and just how cool the overall event really was.

Food and Drink: Although there may be stalls at the events, they can also be a little bit expensive. By packing your own, you will not only save money and time, but you can use that money to buy cool items from the event instead. Plus, if you are taking young children, you can shape the items into their favourite characters or the people they hope to meet.

Autograph Book and Pen: If you are planning to meet some of the guests at the convention, make sure to back an autograph book/notebook and a pen for them to use to sign it. Some places don’t hand out posters and so it is best to be prepared in all cases. You never know either who you might meet walking around.

Comfy Shoes: Finally, an essential at every comic convention is comfy shoes. You may find yourself in long queues to meet guest or having to walk a bit of a distance to the different halls to capture the next event. By having comfy shoes, your feet and legs won’t get so tired, meaning you can make it through the entire day without any worries.

To make sure you are prepared and ready to get tickets for any comic convention around the world, sign up to the Eventbrite Registration Page, which is a great tool for arranging get togethers and events (including your own), as they will alert you to when the next big event in your area is!
