The Autopsy Of Jane Doe DVD Review

Good Morning Lovelies,

Every once in a while a film comes out of nowhere and makes us all listen up and take notice. This year the horror genre is doing just that, as we welcome changes and new additions to the style and voice of the themes.

One film that stands out amongst the new horror features is, The Autopsy of Jane Doe, starring Emile Hirsch, a film that sees a family morgue faced with the terrors of an investigation with so many layers hidden in it.

When experience coroner Tommy Tilden and his son Austin are faced with an emergency case – an unknown female known as Jane Doe – they are faced with trying to find out what happened to her. As the body, which was found in a basement arrives, they are faced with a mystery as the perfectly preserved body on the outside, has scarred, charred and dismembered insides. Something that leads the case in a wild way.

The film is one that hooks you in from start to finish, as the characters and the case develops and forms into its own world. There is a sense of classic thrills mixed in with modern technology, which creates such creativity that it stands out in the horror genre.

It needs and reflects on other horror films, but makes sure that it is standing out on its own. There is a constant smart atmosphere due to this.

And that is why I am giving it...
