Whenever a film tries to document the making of another film it is always a little bit scary. Mainly because they don't often work out well.

Unfortunately, this has happened with Steve McQueen: The Man and The Le Mans. Taking us behind the scenes of the film Steve McQueen made to document his career and cars, the film doesn't manage to safe the box office flop. In fact, in many ways, it sadly makes another one.

Unless you are a huge Steve McQueen fan, there is no real need to see this story on the big screen. Many know McQueen didn't like the film, as he failed to turn up to the premiere, so there aren't even any shocks in it. The rare footage is the only thing this film has going for it.
