An original Arrow Films feature called Headshot was released today on DVD and Blu-ray and I was very lucky to have had the chance to review the film a few weeks ago!

Following a young man, the film introduces him as he discovers that he has been left for dead after suffering from a fatal gunshot wound. Nursed by someone called Ailin, the young man is found to have suffered from amnesia, causing them to rename him, Ishmael.

After developing a friendship, Ishmael is horrified to find that the same people who hurt him before having now gone after Ailin. Working to save his friend before something bad can happen to him, the film takes a different path as a lethal character rises within Ishmael.

The film has many elements in it that make up a classic action hero, but the setting and the script offer for a different outcome. It isn’t the freshest of stories, but the creators have added original elements that make it stand out. Such as the relationship and bond between the two main characters.
