Jennifer Connelly is a figure who has made her name well known in the world of cult films. And she has done it in amazing style with a film catalogue with some incredible features. Including Phenomena, which has been re-released by Arrow Films as of today.

Following Connelly’s character, Jennifer, the film shows her arriving in a new town which is being terrorised by a killer who is targeting the students at her new school. Unaware of what is happening around her when she is sleepwalking, Jennifer becomes the killer's target but she is always one step ahead of him.

The film is a great representation of Hollywood horrors at their best. Made in the mid-80s, the film captures what so many followed it up with and that is making sure that the genre is bringing new talent and themes throughout. There are obvious motions put into place to make audiences get their normal thrills, but they are original and put in place to influence the later works of Wes Craven and more.

Not only does the film provide us with a new way of looking at the film in 4K, it also comes with a large number of special features. Treated to not only the American version, but the film is represented in its original Italian version making the film even more intriguing.
