The Chamber DVD Review

08:00:00

Good Morning Lovelies,

Set under water, The Chamber is a modern horror film that will leave you begging to stay on dry land for a long time.

Directed by newcomer Ben Parker, this underwater adventure set in North Korea, was an outstanding achievement for a breakout performer. Following a military team, the film sees them stranded as they find their latest mission not going quite as they hoped as they find themselves in North Korean territory under the sea.

The plot to the film is very different to what we have seen before, but it does lead to a few downfalls. Whilst the actors are putting their all into the roles, their characters become very much what we have seen before.

And the same goes for the script, which becomes easy to guess. Something you hope, as a viewer, not to see in such a new and ambitious feature film.

As a whole, the film does manage to keep audiences interested, but the lack of differentiation between characteristics within the leading figures and the predictable plot make it hard to fully take hold of.

There so I am giving the film...

3 Stars
