To celebrate this weekend’s upcoming ceremony, Empire Magazine and Sadiq Khan have unveiled a new sign to mark the Empire Awards and the importance of the film industry in the UK! And it is very glamourous.

Approximately, £1.6 billion is spent in the UK on feature films, a huge 13% increase from 2015 and the highest known amount since records started in 1994. And it is set to grow even more lovelies.

Speaking about the new sign, Sadiq Khan, Mayor of London, commented: “The Three Empire Awards celebrate the best in cinematic achievement.
