Revolting Rhymes DVD Review

Good Morning Lovelies,

Over Christmas I turned into the biggest kid. I always do. And even though I was ill I couldn’t help but get excited, especially about the animation Revolting Rhymes, which appeared on BBC and is now out on DVD and Blu-Ray.

Based on the best-selling book by the legendary Roald Dahl, the two part feature saw the characters come to life to tell the classic fairy tales we all love in a very different way. From the story of Little Red Riding Hood to Jack and the Giant Beanstalk, the show captured the heart of everyone’s childhood and brought it back to life with the classic rhymes Dahl brought together.

With many recognisable voices including Dominic West, David Walliams, Bertie Carvel, Tamsin Greig, Rob Brydon and Gemma Chan, the stories were told with grace and a continuous sense of fun, as the characters were brought to life.

The animation was beautiful and the way in which they looked so alike to what we first saw in the book was a great joy. You could picture families cosied up on the sofa watching it, as many generations have read the book and that was what made it so sweet, even though it was meant to be revolting. In the cosy Christmas spirit, this little really stuck out on our TVs.

There so I am giving this show a pleasant...
