After last year’s hugely successful Agatha Christie story, the BBC have carried on with their own adaptations of the books with the brand new Christmas Special, The Witness For The Prosecution and it is amazing.

Starring Kim Cattrall, Andrea Riseborough and David Haig, the story explores the murder of Cattrall’s character and the world of class and sexual power. The show was displayed over two parts but has so much appeal that there could have been so many more of them.

Every actor on the small screen shows why they have been cast for the role in a superb manner. They are all suspects, you don’t trust any of them and it makes for some of the most thrilling viewings of all time.

There are many moments of uncomfortable viewing but these just add to the appeal of what the audiences want.

For crime and thriller fans this Christmas, the feature show is the ultimate highlight and the perfect viewing throughout the rest of the year for those that missed it when it was first on.
