Good Morning Lovelies,

Only a few moments ago the nominees for the BAFTA and EE Rising Star Ward 2017 were announced and it is another tough year for us all, as they are all very worthy winners. However, there can only be one and it is up to you.

This year you can choose from...

Laia Costa – The star of the hit film Victoria has gone on to be a household name because of the film and is sure to be a favourite for many. Costa is a huge star in Spain and now the rest of the world is getting to see her amazing talents on the big screen, making her a perfect rising star nominee.

Tom Holland – About to take on the face of Spiderman in the upcoming film, Spiderman Homecoming, the star has been one to watch since his performance in the heart-breaking The Impossible and continues to be as he makes even more great performances.

Lucas Hedges – Starring in Manchester By The Sea with Casey Affleck, Hedges has broken the big screen, but he has been doing so for a long time with many appearances in Wes Anderson films and more. Watch out for more to come from this rising star.

Ruth Negga – Having first appeared on many peoples screens in Misfits, Negga has become a rising star for many reasons and her latest performance in the film Loving is just incredible, making her a very worthy nominee.

Anya Taylor-Joy – The final nominee is one who has brought back to life the horror genre with her performance in The Witch. Making many of us sit with our eyes closed and pulses raising, Taylor-Joy made us all pay attention with her amazing talents. Her next appearance in Split is sure to make her a household name.
