Good Morning Lovelies,

After 40 years, Assault On Precinct 13, is now coming out on Blu-Ray for the first time today and to celebrate I sat down and watched the film for the first time ever!

Based around a gang in LA, the film follows them as they go on several killing sprees around the city. Trying to capture them before they can continue to do the evil acts that they are doing to those around them, a lone cop known as Ethan Bishop who along with his staff members tries to capture the killer in one night.

Played by some of the most classic figures in the horror genre including Nancy Loomis, the film is a thriller of the ages as the characters provide a first look at how to tackle the thriller genre correctly and with the right ways to hook in an audience.

Each character knows what to do as well to win an audience member over and by the end of it, you are wishing that it would continue. You are also hoping though that the characters get what they are looking for.

It is a classic John Carpenter film and it is one that is going to go down in history, which is why it deserves the Blu-Ray treatment so much. When you have a siege and thriller film like this, you know that the ones that followed it had to do a good job. It is now up to us to decide if they do.
