Good Morning Lovelies,

A while ago I was sent the film, Asterix: The Mansions of the Gods 3D, and over the weekend I sat down to watch the animation. It was a very interesting watch I have to say!

Set in the year 50 BC, the film shows Gaul as it is occupied by the Romans. However there is one village that will not allow it’s invaders to take over and the story develops into a historical take on what could potentially be joking about modern day society going back on its ways.

With a great British cast and lots of comedy, the film is a sweet story but it does have moments that are more suitable for the adults watching then the children. The story has been made easy for young people to follow, but it might still be a story for children older than 6 because of some of the complex questions viewers could get.
