Moving On Season 7 DVD Review

As many of you know my mum is a bit of a fan when it comes to day time TV. After working all night, she finds the little luxuries in watching daytime TV shows and that is why we all watch them with her when she is home.
One of her favourites is Moving On, a show on BBC that we have spoken about before on the blog, and today marks the release of season seven on DVD. Starring Shane Ritchie, John Thomson and Julie Hesmondhalgh, the show features non-connected episodes of the characters as they face real life problems.
Each episode is gritty and makes the audiences see an event that could affect them in a new light. Writer Jimmy McGovern has made sure that the common themes highlight the way in which each character moves on. It is like seeing an old friend teaching you a lesson on life and how to process problems that affect us.
