All Good Things Complete Box Set DVD Review

Good Morning Lovelies,

As it makes its way on to DVD for the first time ever, All Good Things is a British classic that is finally returning to many people’s small screens. Starring Brenda Blethyn, Warren Clarke and Celia Imrie, the 1991 classic is a look at family life with a difference.

Telling the story of Shirley and Phil Frame, the show follows Shirley as she tries to change the world after the birth of her third child. However, as she does so she ends up making her husband go a little mad with her crazy methods.

The show is a breakdown of how a modern family can look and the good and bad elements that make a marriage work and fail. While Shirley isn’t a great fixer of the issues she faces the way in which Blethyn captures her nature makes it an enjoyable watch.

Place her with the hard but soft-centered Clarke and you have a show that may be short, with only six episodes, but with a lot of heart and adventure.

This is why I am giving the show...
