Good Morning Lovelies,
Many will recognise the faces of Mamrie Hart, Grace Helbig
and Hannah Hart but you may not have seen them like this before. In their new
film Dirty 30, the threesome, decide to take on characters who have a wild
night out.
Mamrie plays, Kate, a woman approaching her 30th
Birthday who is sick to death of the failed dates she has been on and the job
she is in. Alongside Helbig plays Evie, who finds herself battling with her
in-laws who have taken a dislike to her, while Hannah plays Charlie, who has
found the girl of her dreams but can’t get her life in order to keep the
relationship alive.
The film is very important in the terms of seeing more women
on screen, but it lacks a lot of the comedy that films such as Bad Moms has
brought to our screens recently. Both Hart’s and Helbig have made a name for
themselves on YouTube for their original comedy and it would have been nice to
see more of that. In fact the film would have been better broken down and
placed into a TV show format.
It is sure to be a hit with the YouTube stars fans, who will
enjoy seeing their crazy stars go even madder, but for those who don’t know the
figures it could mean they lose interest quickly.
