THE NICE GUYS DVD REVIEW WITH A DIFFERENCE

07:00:00

Good Morning Lovelies,

Now as many of you know I am a huge Ryan Gosling fan. To me there are very few men who can match up to him (Leo, Jamie, Tom, Taron I’m talking about you), so to be sent the film, The Nice Guys, to enjoy was a treat and a half.

I didn’t want to do a normal review for this lovelies, but instead point out the most enjoyable elements of the film. I thought this might be a little bit different and fun lovelies.

Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling are a power couple
I want to meet the person who cast these two together! The pairing has been one of the strongest I have ever seen on the big screen in a while and I hope that we don’t have to wait too long to get them back on screen again.

Ryan Gosling in a pool looking for Mermaids
If ever I thought that I might not think this film was that funny, Gosling managed to save it when it came to the scene with him and a pair of mermaids. I want to really know if Gosling managed to do this scene or not.

The plot matched the times and needs of the audience
Although it did go a little mad at times and the start of the film is not what you would expect, there is a sense of a strong plot throughout and you want to know what has happened to the missing woman in the film. When you find out you aren’t left bored when it all goes wrong for the pair.

Singalong with the soundtrack
The 70s provided us with some of the best music we have ever had the pleasure of experiencing and this film uses it to its benefit. There is no song that doesn’t call for the music that is in it and the way it is shared makes the film more and more fun.

The support cast is great and fun
Angourie Rice, Kim Basinger and Matt Bomer all know what to do with their characters to make them interesting and to hook in the audience. They make sure that you have fun with them, as well as the evil and young presence that they have on screen. Bomer’s hair is one of the highlights to the film in fact.

Shane Black knows what to do with the cast
After a long time coming, Black has provided audiences with a fun film and that is what really stands out when it comes to this piece. He knows how to use Gosling and Crowe to the best of their ability and neither lack throughout.

Let’s hope we don’t have to wait too long to see them on screen again soon lovelies!
