NEW DAY, NEW FILM! INTRODUCING THE SIEGE OF JADOTVILLE

13:34:00

Good Afternoon Lovelies,

Now after all the Raindance fun and the updates lovelies I thought it was time for a new film. This one comes from a place we don’t normally get new films from but I am very excited about it and I am sure many of you will be to.

From Netflix, the film, The Siege of Jadotville, directed by Richie Smyth and starring Guillaume Canet, Jamie Dornan, Sam Keeley, Charlie Kelly, Conor MacNeill, Michael McElhatton, Mike Noble, Jason O’Mara, Fionn O’Shea, Mikael Persbrandt, Conor Quinlan (grandson of Commandant Pat Quinlan), Ronan Raftery, Emmanuelle Seigner, and Mark Strong is a gripping new Irish film.

Based on a true story, the film shares with audiences the 1961 siege of a 150-strong Irish UN, led by Commander Patrick Quinlan, played by Jamie Dornan and the 3,000 Congolese troops led by French and Belgian mercenaries working for mining companies. Working to take down Quinlan and his men, Guillaume Canet plays a French commander.

The film is due out on Netflix from the 7th November lovelies, but you can watch the brand new trailer for it right now here…
