DC'S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW SEASON ONE DVD REVIEW

09:31:00

Good Morning Lovelies,

Are you feeling the loss of a superhero in your life at the moment? I feel that we are now getting ready to go into Oscar film territory and with no Katniss Everdeen to help us in the cold months we are going to be missing the superheroes. However that is not to say there isn’t a superhero out there.

Oh no in fact DC has helped us by releasing DC’s Legends of Tomorrow on DVD and Blu-ray.
The first season in the new show follows Rip Hunter, played by Doctor Who star Arthur Darvill, as he creates a team of villains and superheroes to take on the evil Vandal Savage. With the cast being made up by acting talents Wentworth Miller, Brandon Routh, Ciara Renee and many more, the show has a lot of talent, but is lacking a certain charm.

While it is easy to get lost in episode after episode, the show has so many characters within it that their stories and where they are from get lost on those who may not know the comics. There is action packed sequences and high energy running throughout that make for tense and exciting viewing though and in some senses this makes up for the loss of character building.

With 16 episodes of non-stop action, the superheroes and villains are definitely going to make up for some of the recent DC outings we have seen (Cough*Batman Vs Superman*Cough). Miller has been a missed figure on our screen and Darvill knows how to run the show as the main figure amongst such great faces.

Each talent within the show can be seen growing within each episode and it makes for interesting and stand out viewing. I just wished they had explored their characters a lot more and given the actors a chance to show their talents even further.

There so I am giving the show…
