THE TRUST DVD REVIEW...
17:58:00
Good Morning Lovelies,
Nicholas Cage has been absent from our screens for a while
lovelies. But have no fear because the icon is back in The Trust alongside
Elijah Wood, as they join forces to play two cops trying to find a drugs
dealer.
Playing an unlikely team on screen the dynamic between the
two also seems unlikely to work. Yet the pair are actually really well placed
together. Wood and Cage bounce off each other and while there is a high level,
high lovelies, of awkwardness there is also a sense of talent they create
together.
The action on screen isn’t anything we haven’t seen before
and as they fight against the clock to try and take down the dealer it is easy
to see how the story is going to go. But the pair’s relationship is what makes
it so worthwhile watching it. You don’t know how it is going to work or if it
is even going to work yet it does.
Writers Alex and Benjamin Brewer have created a film that
will be remembered which is a huge success for a first feature length film from
the two. Yet it may not be for the reason they hoped or thought it might be
for.
There so I am giving the film…
