THE BOOTH AT THE END SEASONS ONE AND TWO DVD REVIEW...
16:25:00
Good Morning Lovelies,
Over the past few weeks I have been in a bit of a down mood
as I try to find something to fill the gap that the latest season of OITNB left
inside me. So when I was told about the show The Booth at the End which was
finally coming out on DVD for the first time in the UK, I was interested in
reviewing it.
With seasons one and two out at the same time, the show,
which was huge in the US, follows a father who is trying to help his dying son,
a nun who is trying to find her faith again and many more people in a small
town that are having problems with their emotions and reactions.
Both seasons feel like they are letting you into the
characters world for the first time. They are interesting figures and they make
for entertaining viewing. Their stories are hard hitting and the writers have
given us all something to view and go away and think about.
The idea that a man and his powers can save them was
interesting. It was as though the two seasons were trying to be like Misfits
but more serious and for an older audience. The tasks are challenging and they
are not made to be laughed at.
Overall the show is clever and makes for intriguing viewing
that will stay with you all for a long time to come. There so I am giving the
show…
