ODDBALL & THE PENGUINS DVD REVIEW...

11:43:00

Good Morning Lovelies,

With a name like Oddball & The Penguins there are a lot of assumptions that can already be made from hearing it. When I first heard it I thought it was an animation, but when I sat down to watch this Aussie film I found something completely different and completely cute.

Set in a small town, the film follows workers at a sanctuary called Middle Island which looks after penguins who have come under attack by the foxes who have managed to work their way into the island. One of the workers is the young Emily, who has stepped in to help her dad after her mother’s death. Together they work with their sheepdog to look and hopefully save the penguins from further harm.

The story and plot of the film is a sweet tale. It is a father daughter drama that will have you not only searching for penguin and dog videos on Youtube but also wanting to spend the day bonding with your dad in the way that the characters do. It is a family film that refers to all the great moments people can have together.

There is a bond in the film that reflects off screen and calls out to audiences that makes it so likable and with this in mind I am giving it…
