Good Afternoon Lovelies, 

After yesterday’s new film I wanted to bring you another one lovelies! This time in the form of The Girl with All the Gifts!

Based on the best-selling book by M. R. Carey, the film stars Sennia Nanua, Gemma Arterton, Glenn Close and Paddy Considine, in a story about the future of humanity and the children within it. 


Set in an army base in England, the film follows a group of children who seem to be immune from the disease that has wiped nearly all of humanity, as the flesh-eating bug affects those involved. 


Placed under the control of Dr. Caldwell, the group is experimented on to see why they stay normal even when infected with the disease. Even when faced with a thirst for human flesh, the group are able to control their hunger and attend school lessons daily without problems. 

All bar one in the form of Melanie, who stands out in the classroom and to her teacher Miss Justineau due to her excelled skills. Together the pair escapes the base and go on a journey to help Melanie find her future in the world to save the human race.
