Good Morning Lovelies,

On Sunday nights it is heard to pick something to watch, but it is made easier when you find great shows that continue on from a great previous season. Much like ‘Indian Summers’, which won me over in the first season thanks to its great cast. A cast who have returned for the second season, to tell their stories three years on from where they left off in the first season.

With the back drop being a country with so much culture, the setting and the story mix together to provide an interesting and show how the characters have changed. Focusing on Ralph, the show sees his career take big strides and the consequences that means.

Full of sex, corruption and fights, the series shows how status is everything in that time period but that family, friends and the group dynamic can make an overall impact and make them stand out. And when they so this so does the actors in the shows portrayals. Especially Julie Walters, who always manages to steal the screen for all the right reasons.

Although the season is strong it isn’t as magical as the first season was. There are many moments that make no sense or are not needed and make the whole episode they are in seem a bit over the top and not as tightly placed together as the previous shows.

However that definitely can’t be said for all of the episodes in the season. There are many that are spot on. And that is why I am giving it…
