FATHER'S CHAIR AND MORE SIMPLY MEDIA REVIEWS...

17:34:00

Hey Lovelies,

A few weeks ago I was asked if I would like to review a number of films, all of which that were very different from each other and I couldn’t say no. I was wrapped up in them all weekend in fact and now this is my thoughts on all of them. I hope you all enjoy them…

Father’s Chair Review:

After witnessing a number of TV shows that have taken on this topic over the years, the film ‘Father’s Chair’ manages to hook audiences in by making them want to see where the fathers son has disappeared to and if he has been taken by someone.

It is a hard hitting film, that is tense as well as gripping throughout and therefore makes the audience’s attention stay with it until the end, which concludes in a shocking manner. It is easy to see how the acting and the editing won so many awards due to this.

Therefore the film is a key and brilliant feature length piece for fans of documentary and thrilling issues, which is why I am giving it…

On Broadway Review:

Not many films have been able to combine two genres as well as ‘On Broadway’ does! It manages to hook in the viewers as they flip from both the world of stage to the world of screen. The films creators have thought of every detail and matter in which needs to be thought about with this film and its topic.

There is a lot of sensitivity and the ways in which they are dealt with is beautiful and comforting to viewers at times, but also still able to entertain the audience because it shows the over the top world of Broadway at times.

Therefore I am giving the film…

Sabina Rivas Review:

While the film is a dark piece it fails to hook in audiences with its nature, as the filmmakers have failed to make the film have the thrilling and sensitive aspects in which it needed for it to be a success. There is nothing that makes it stand out as a thriller and there is nothing within it that makes it a hit for horror fans.

The acting and the script isn’t strong enough to make the film carry the storyline and therefore because of this those involved are not able to give performances and elements to the film that could have made it so much stronger.

This is why I am giving it…

The Weather Station Review:

Set much like the TV show, ‘True Detective’, the film manages to make the two police detectives within it very likeable and the acting is on top form within the film as they search for their superiors, however there is an element to the film that makes it start to go downhill and therefore it doesn’t make the viewers as entertained.

This is the script within the film. There are so many loopholes and there is a number of issues within it that make it so much more lack lustring and not as entertaining as a viewer compared to the TV show which is very much like it. It could have been so much more the actors involved, but because of this there isn’t much you can’t do much as a viewer when watching it.

Therefore I am giving the film…
