Good Afternoon Lovelies,

And how are all of you? Sorry for the late posts today, I have had a bit of an anxiety filled day that has knocked me for six and then I had a morning lecture, which I loved as we watched ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ lovelies! However I am back with force now and with a brand new film to share with all of you!

Directed by John Carney and starring Ferdia Walsh-Peelo, Aidan Gillen, Maria Doyle Kennedy and Jack Reynor, Lionsgate have announced that the film, ‘Sing Street’, will be hitting our cinema screens next year lovelies after it premieres at the Dublin and Sundance Film Festivals!

Following a young boy called Conor, during the 1980s in Dublin, the film sees him being forced out of his private school and placed into a public school full of rough teachers and students. The only thing that is helping him is his love for Raphina, who he works to win over with their joint love of music videos including his own bands.

Together the pair agrees to star in a music video together for his group, making the ultimate rock band of the 80s, leading to an incredible soundtrack lovelies with all the best songs from the decade.

The film will be out on the 18th March in Ireland and on the 22nd April in the UK lovelies, so look out for news on it soon!

Joey X
