I may run off very soon to workout out, but before I go I have some huge news, because the Grupo Exito and Ecoplanet Foundation have come together to air the brand new documentary ‘Colombia: Wild Magic’ in cinemas from the 6th to the 9th September in Colombia lovelies! 

Showing first to the Archuacos Community in Nabusimake, the film will then premiere on the 8th September at The Teatro Colón in Bogotá to 800 people including iconic figures and government leaders, before it screens in Medellin, Barranquilla, Bucaramanga, Cartagena, and Cali, on the 10th September lovelies.

Speaking about the events, Grupo Éxito CEO Carlos Mario Giraldo stated: “The film was always envisaged as a gift to the people of Colombia.  To make every citizen aware of the unparalleled beauty of our country, and the riches that are ours to lose if we fail to take responsibility for their survival. It was always our great hope to take COLOMBIA: WILD MAGIC to all corners of this wonderful country, and we’re thrilled that so many will have the opportunity to experience a truly pioneering world premiere, and to see their home in an entirely new light.”

While, Ecoplanet Director Francisco Forero added: “We live in the second most biodiverse country on the planet, yet at the same time, one with some of the most fragile ecosystems on earth. This five-year-long project is an attempt to create awareness of the imperative need to preserve our resources for our children and the generations to come. In the future they will judge us in two possible ways: They will either say ‘our ancestors took due care of our country. They knew what they were doing’, or ‘they were just looking out for their own short term well-being and they forgot about ours.’ The choice is in our hands today.”

The film uses brand new techniques to show the Amazon Rainforest, Sierra Nevada Mountains and the waters off the Malpelo Island, showing the sharks and dolphins that live in the area!
