10:16:00

Good Morning Lovelies,

How are you all? I hope you are getting that Friday feeling already lovelies, because the weekend is nearly upon us and I have a brand new film to celebrate with you all!

From director Cosima Spender, the hit film from Tribeca Film Festival, ‘Palio’, follows the oldest horse race horse in the world and the corruption behind the even held in Siena lovelies!

Speaking to people such as jockey Gigi Bruschelli, who has won 13 times, the films gives a behind the scenes look of him preparing for the event and the lengths in which he will go to, to win the event, as he faces his new rival Giovanni Atzeni, as well as a series of looks into the event.

Talking about the film, director Cosima Spender says, “I grew up with the Palio so I was uniquely placed to gain the trust of everyone involved in the film and our narrator was able to open doors which are normally closed to outsiders.”

“The politics, passion, intensity and heritage of the Palio are in some ways very similar to those of Formula One” continues James Gay-Rees, “As with Senna, we have managed to get under the skin of this amazing world and shine a light on one of the most compelling spectacles on the planet.”

The film is due out on the 25th September, just a few weeks after it closes the Cambridge Film Festival on the 13th September, but to celebrate the upcoming Palio celebrations in Italy this weekend, this brand new trailer has been revealed for you all to enjoy…
