Straight from Odyssey, the company have announced that they will be releasing ‘A Sense of Freedom’ on DVD from the 23rd November!  

Starring David Hayman, Fulton Mackay, Jake D’Arcy, Alex Norton, Sean Scanlan, Jimmy Yuill, John Stahl and Hector Nicol and directed by John Mackenzie, the BAFTA nominated show is based on the real life of Glasgow gangster Jimmy Boyle and his autobiography, and shows the shocking truths of his time in prison. 

After being cleared of murder twice, Jimmy Boyle, is one of the hardest men around, known for his violent ways, until he is placed in a Scottish prison under a strict regime, including beatings and solitary confinement that are incredible brutal. 

During this time, Boyle decides to use his time to get redemption and decides to move on in a positive light that he could never have imagined!
