Good Morning Lovelies,

How are you all? I hope you are all well and ready for a fun filled film day, because I have so much to tell you and I hope that it will make you all very excited! I know many of you will be looking forward to the next weeks’ worth of news as we get it straight from San Diego Comic Con 2015!

However before we begin with the film news, I have some new TV pieces to share with you, as Sky 1 have announced a huge new line up to their channel, that will be sure to create a whole host of binge-watching and brilliance.

Hoping to increase the amount of family friendly shows, the channel has added a whole host of them, as well as some just for the parents, as they welcome talent such as Timothy Spall, James Nesbitt, Ashley Jensen, Patrick Aryee, Geraldine James, Victoria Wood, Ardal O’Hanlon, Keeley Hawes, Ruth Jones, Joe Wilkinson, David Earl, Neil Biswas and Danny Brocklehurst to the service.

From new pieces such as ‘You, Me & The Apocalypse’, ‘Fungus the Bogeyman’, ‘The Five’ and ‘After Hours’ to new series of  ‘Karl Pilkington: The Moaning of Life’, ’50 Ways To Kill Your Mammy’ ‘ Agatha Raisin’,  ‘Trollied’ and ‘Stella’, plus the return of ‘The Muppets’, Sky 1 are making sure lovelies that we are missing out on nothing.

Including Stan Lee’s first ever UK TV drama called ‘Lucky Man’ which will be out next year, and new comedy pieces such as ‘Rovers’, ‘Wild Things’ and of course the amazing ‘A League of Their Own’, which will also be having its own spin off, in a new three part drama called ‘A League of Their Own: American Road Trip’.

Sky 1 will also be working on a number of original factual programmes including ‘Big Cats: An Amazing Animal Family’ and ‘Ross Kemp’s Britain’, as well as playing host to a number of US based shows that are reaching our shores including ‘The Simpsons’, ‘Modern Family’, ‘The Flash’, ‘Arrow’ and ‘Hawaii Five-0’.

"I'm so excited we can offer absolutely top-quality drama all year round and I love how brilliantly unique our comedies feel,” said Adam MacDonald, director, Sky 1, speaking about the channel’s new line-up. “The range of original programming we have completely reflects what Sky 1 stands for - the very best of modern Britain and Ireland, and all the eclecticism, diversity and joy that implies. We know that some of the best family moments come from sitting around the TV and enjoying that time together, and we hope with this new line-up to create many more of those moments."

It looks like Sky 1 is going to be the channel to watch lovelies!
